Dial-up services
The old most used service in the world is Dialup internet
access,though, there are many different ways to connect to the
net, Users who choose dialup access to the net. We provide
them with different type of Dialup internet services, which
consist of:
Prepaid Dial-up accounts,Users can buy
TKC prepaid cards from any TKC agents around the Kish
island, cards are available in 20,30 and 60 Hours prepaid
Cards. These prepaid cards are useful for visitors and
travellers who want to connect to internet for few days or
some users who need internet occasionally. but they should
be mentioned that These cards are convenient but they expire
specified days after the first connection depending on type
of card.
Unlimited Post-Paid accounts,This type
of service is useful for Kish Island resident people or
small businesses that need to connect. whenever they want
and pay internet usage charges monthly. A user need to fill
up the form, sign up, choose one, two or three usernames
sorted by user's interest. After IT confirmation and
username activation, customer care provide the user
connection information and deliver the username and password
to the user.
e-mail users Dialup accounts,e-mail
users can access their mail box through our network , even
from other ISPs or abroad, but if user doesn't have any
internet connection or is not interested, we can provide
user a pair of username/password to get connected to our
network to transfer their e-mails. How to
connect to a dialup service:
Depending on your
operating system you need to know how to create an internet
connection. Windows users can do this easily through Network
and Dialup connections menu under Start menu -> Settings.
Click on Make new connection item, Dialup connection wizard
will be started, follow instructions and enter 4425100 as
Phone number when the wizard asks you. When you create the
dialup connection simply click on it to get connected to our
network.
Prepaid users can find their user name and
password inside folded prepaid card, though postpaid users
should enter username/password that they requested from
customer care department.
Note: Keep your password in a safe place.
TKC is not responsible for using your account by others.
Changing lost passwords is only possible with a written
request from TKC customer care. However, TKC
e-mail only users should dial 4423100 to access their
e-mail, obviously they can not browse the net with this
account.
